An OT Driven Camp
Directed by a certified, passtionate, and experienced occupational therapist, each sensory opportunity will be a chance to develop their creativity, motor skills, connection to peers, and to embrace new experiences. Sensory Safari offers a FULL INCLUSION outdoor camp environment that celebrates neurotypical and neurodivergent children alike, aged 4-7 years of age. With small groups and individualized attention, children can engage in camp activities at their own pace and with thoughtful supports interwoven into the camp setting.
The Skill Building at Sensory Safari Camp ….
SENSORY MOTOR - Sensory Safari will include daily movement activities that promote sensory motor development skills such as balance and body awareness.
FINE MOTOR - Campers will engage in daily activities that develop fine and visual motor skills that can apply to meaningful engagement in school, self care, and play.
SELF REGULATION - Sensory Safari introduces mindfulness activities and sensory techniques for self regulation skills.
SOCIAL EMOTIONAL - Campers will participate in social emotional activities that develop connections between campers and social skills.
